Saturday 6/22/2024.  This is a catch &\; release only outing (no tra nsport).  Muskies caught by use of power trolling or live bait are eligib le for an award.  Any lake\, creek or river in Sawyer County was eligible .  All WDNR and health regulations must be complied with.  A witness and a photograph are required for all eligible entries.  The (optional) outi ng contest fee is $10 per person (To be eligible for the contest please pa y John or Sue Eversoll or Geoff Crandall prior to the start of the outing) .  All eligible muskies must be measured to the ¼ inch\, Muskies 30” o r longer are eligible for the longest or second longest award.  In case o f a tie the – first fish caught wins.  Participants must fill out the l iability release form.  Winners may win only one category.  Awards will be available for the following categories.\n\n Longest Muskie (Trophy Win ner)\n Second Longest Muskie\n\nIn 2023 anglers were awarded for the foll owing caught &\; released Muskie.\n\n Longest Muskie (Jim Lawler 43” on Chippewa Flowage)\n Second Longest (Lee Bartolini 37.5” on Black Da n Lake)\n Honorable Mention (Karen Phillips 34.5”)\n\nWe had problems f inding lodging near Winter last year so make your reservations early.\n\nC ome on up for a good time!\n\nAwards Banquet – Dinner will be provided f or $22 per person.  Please pay by Friday June 16th.  That way the cateri ng staff will have a correct headcount one week in advance to ensure our g roup gets plenty to eat.  Saturday night we’ll have dinner and the awar ds ceremony at Julies Trailside Tavern &\; Grill 5992 W.
