What does it take to be one of the most successful chapters in Muskies, Inc? It takes a great membership, dedicated board of directors, smart budgeting, and a lot of luck.
The Capital City chapter of Muskies Inc (CCMI) is a 501c(3) not-for-profit organization. CCMI’s mission is to fulfill the goals of Muskies Inc in the areas of Youth, Fisheries, and Research. We embrace this mission and strive to encourage muskie fishing now and in the future. When you support CCMI by making a donation, you help lift our fishery up by allowing us to continue programs such as the Wisconsin Youth Muskie Championship and Muskie Stocking in the Madison lakes.
Muskellunge are not a native fish to the Madison chain of lakes. Muskie were first introduced in 1986 by the Wisconsin DNR. With the support of the DNR, CCMI, and passionate muskie anglers; the muskie population has thrived and Madison, WI has become a trophy muskie fishing destination. CCMI is committed to ensuring the successful future of this muskie fishery.
