Bill Wood Outing 2026
Help Celebrate the 42nd Year of the Bill Wood Outing!
When: June 19, 7am Friday thru June 20, 5pm Saturday
Where: All waters in Sawyer County, Wis.
$30 Per Angler entry fee. $20 if you choose not to participate in the Fish Contest.
First Place Winner will receive a wood carved muskie plaque from Mike Purcell, a one year traveling trophy with name inscribed, Dorn Outdoor Pro Shop gift card, and one-year use of the Bill Wood Commemorative muskie rod. CCMI Members will also receive a CCMI Outing Winner patch. Second Place Winner will receive a Dorn Outdoor Pro Shop gift card.
An Awards Banquet with a delicious catered dinner and dessert will be held at Julies Trail Side Tavern and Grill at 5992 W. Highway 70, Winter, Wis. Cash bar at 6pm and dinner served by 7pm.

Rules:
- Fishing starts at 7am Friday morning thru 5pm Saturday
- All waters of Sawyer County are eligible to fish
- Live bait and trolling are allowed. No transporting of fish and catch and release only
- Muskies caught over 30 inches are eligible for awards. Measure to the ¼ inch
- Longest muskie wins First Place awards, Second longest second place gift card
- If a tie the muskie caught first will be winner, witness and photograph for eligibility
- All muskies caught must be photographed and text sent to Steve, 608-770-7131 by 6pm Saturday
