Madison Chain Outing 2025
Come join us for the Capital City Muskies Inc. Madison Chain Outing on Saturday, May 10, 2025. The outing will begin at 7:00 am and end at 2:00 pm. This outing is open to the public and you need not be a CCMI member to attend.
Outing Rules:
- participants must comply with all WDNR regulations.
- catch and release only tournament with no transport of fish.
- live bait and trolling are allowed.
- only fish caught between 7:00 am and 2:00 pm on May 10, 2025 will be eligible.
- A photograph of the fish on a measuring device is required for all entries.
- Eligible lakes are Monona, Waubesa and Upper Mud Lake.
- Only muskies 30″ or longer will be eligible for an award.
- In case of a tie, the earliest musky caught will be the tiebreaker.
- Participants must complete and submit a “Release of Liability” form if not completed in 2025. The form is available on the CCMI website.
Awards ceremony, fishing stories, door prizes and a pizza party will be held at promptly at 3 pm at the Babcock boat Landing in McFarland.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three individuals (this is not a team event) with the most combined inches of fish caught and released to the nearest ¼-inch. Winners may only win one prize.
Any awards that go unclaimed will go into door prizes.
Cost
$25.00 per person for CCMI Members
$35.00 per person for Non-Members.
Youth ages 17 and under are free.
